Square D Gives $35,000 to the College of Engineering

Square D Company, a maker of industrial control and automation products, has donated $35,000 to the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University. Most of the funds, $27,000, will be used to establish a scholarship endowment; $3,000 will support student organizations; and $5,000 will go to two annual scholarships, one for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the other for the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Nino A. Masnari, dean of the College of Engineering at NC State, said, “We greatly appreciate the support that Square D has shown the College of Engineering. This gift will support the educational activities of some of the brightest and most energetic young people in the state of North Carolina.”
