Monteith Receives Honorory Doctorate of Humane Letters

Dr. Larry K. Monteith (BSEE '60), Chancellor Emeritus of NC State University, is one of six people receiving the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from NC State at the fall commencement ceremony Wednesday, December 19. Chancellor Marye Anne Fox confers the honorary degrees on behalf of NC State University. After receiving his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from NC State in 1960, Monteith received his master's and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from Duke University in 1962 and 1965, respectively.
