Lohani Elected to National Academy of Engineering

The National Academy of Engineering recently elected new members. Listed among the new Foreign Associates was Dr. Bindu Lohani, who received his master of civil engineering in environmental engineering from North Carolina State University in 1973. Lohani received his doctorate from the Asian Institute of Technology. He is currently Secretary of the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines. His principal engineering accomplishment was “for the development of planning for integrated economic-cum-environmental sustainable development through the protection of natural and social resources.”
