Dr. Jason M. Haugh, assistant professor of chemical engineering at North Carolina State University, has been awarded the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from Oak Ridge Associated Universities. Haugh received the $5,000 award for his research in engineering intracellular processes for enhanced wound healing. NC State University will provide matching funding.
Haugh’s research interests include biomedical and biochemical engineering, signal transduction networks and mammalian cell engineering. He received his B.S. in chemical engineering from NC State in 1994 and his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999.
