Dr. Vincent W. Freeh, who has been appointed visiting assistant professor of computer science at North Carolina State University, pending approval by the Board of Trustees, has had his work on parasitic computing reported on Science News Central in December 2002 (see http://www.sciencentral.com/news/articles/view.php3?language=english&type=article&article_id=218391852).  Parasitic computing involves the secret use of remote computers to perform complex calculations.
