DeSimone Named Entrepreneur of the Year

Dr. Joseph M. DeSimone, William R. Kenan, Jr. Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; Director of the NSF Science and Technology Center for Environmentally Responsible Solvents and Processes; and Co-Director of the Kenan Center for the Utilization of CO₂ in Manufacturing at NC State University was named the 2001 Technology Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas by Ernst & Young.
