Preliminary Energy Diagnostic Surveys (PEDS)

Preliminary Energy Diagnostic Surveys consist of on-site visits to determine the general energy efficiency and productivity level of the facility and determine which of the specialized surveys for energy efficiency, CHP and renewable energy could be best utilized by the facility.

All survey reports shall include a recommended plan of improvements and considerations for developing a plan of action.

The targeted survey visit will typically be one (1) day on-site and limited to no more than two (2) person-days (one additional day is also allocated in office to develop a report).

These surveys are conducted in partnership with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) in the College of Engineering at NC State.
