Admissions Information Sessions
and Campus Tours
The best way to find out if NC State Engineering is right for you is to visit our campus and participate in one of our information sessions offered each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We offer these sessions for prospective students and their families beginning at 1:30 p.m. Participants should come to room 120 Page Hall and we will escort you and your family to the location where we are conducting the information session.
These informal sessions, conducted by staff members in the Office of Academic Affairs, last 30 to 45 minutes and include engineering-specific information about admission to our College, the freshman year, joining an academic department after the freshman year, and the many opportunities available to our students. We usually have one or more current engineering students at our information sessions, and they add a valuable student perspective.
Our information sessions are a bonus for prospective students interested in one of the many engineering disciplines and should be attended in conjunction with the Admissions information session and campus tour offered through the Admissions Office. The Engineering information session does not include departmental tours except on specified dates*. If you plan to attend our information session, you will not be able to participate in the 1:00 Admissions session; plan to attend their 10:00 session.
