Both North Carolina State University and the North Carolina Community College System share space and educate students in the Golden LEAF BTEC facility. The following NC State University programs may be of interest to students considering a career in biomanufacturing, as some of them offer concentrations specific to the field:

The Professional Science Master's degree in Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) provides students with competencies in science and business and includes both academic and professional training.
