Giving Back
Our loyal alumni and friends give back to the College in significant ways.
Their generous gifts have established endowed scholarships, fellowships and professorships that have enabled the College to recruit highly skilled researchers and scholars. These talented people have helped our programs flourish.
Over the years, many have served on the NC State Engineering Foundation Board of Directors, lending their expertise to the continued improvement of the College. Others have mentored our students, recruited our graduates and hosted or volunteered at events.
We are grateful to our alumni and friends and thank them for their continued investment in NC State Engineering.
Distinguished Engineering Alumni (DEA) Award
Each year since 1966, the College has awarded the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award to honor the outstanding achievements of its engineering graduates. The roster of past recipients represents a dynamic and diverse set of leadership and engineering achievements.
