Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) Committee

ABET is the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. Accreditation ensures the quality of the postsecondary education that NC State engineering students receive.

ABET Committee Responsibilities

The NCSU College of Engineering ABET Committee is composed of faculty representatives from all engineering departments and programs. The purpose of the committee is to coordinate assessment related activities and ensure that the college meets ABET requirements for accreditation.
